Introduced in 1992, the women-only trains that run on Mumbai’s Western and Central Railway lines, will not run in Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai during work hours. According to Indian railway minister Mamata Banerjee, women face much difficulty on trains, suffering pinches, grabbing, and leers.
