According to a 2008 survey conducted to increased the use of birth control and promote sex health awareness and education, 23% of Israeli women use birth control pills. The condom is the second most popular mode of birth control in Israel.

Contraceptives are widely available in England. Emergency contraception is available at clinics, some hospitals, and some pharmacies (in which there may be an age limit of 16). Abortion is legal until the fetus is not capable of being born alive, which translates to the 22-23rd week of pregnancy.

Soon, the morning-after pill will be available over the counter in pharmacies in Spain. According to Health Minister Trinidad Jimenez, the pill will be sold without age restrictions and will be regarded as another method of contraception.
